David C. Driskell Center Hosts Ceramics Talk with Gabriel Reed

Talk: Thursday, November 19 at 6pm EST

Join the David C. Driskell Center for a talk with Gabriel Reed about Driskell’s ceramic works. Driskell was a passionate and prolific ceramicist whose works have been documented by Gabriel Reed, a ceramicist and Ph.D. Candidate at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. This virtual talk will feature both Reed and Professor Curlee R. Holton, Director of the David C. Driskell Center.

Works by David C. Driskell and other African American artists currently hang in the University House at the University of Maryland, College Park. The University House serves the university community and is used regularly for meetings and events. As of today, you too are able to virtually tour the artwork hanging in the University House.
