Join Tephra ICA for Insights, Thursday November 9th from 6-8pm. The Insights program spotlights an academic perspective of the work currently on view at the gallery from professionals in academia, curators, historians, and other scholars. This Insights program will feature Joanna M. Gohmann, Provenance Researcher and Object Historian at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Asian Art, Freer-Sackler Gallery. She specializes in the art of eighteenth-century France, especially the French collection and emulation of Chinese decorative arts, as well as the history of collecting and the art market. This program is generously sponsored by the Reston Community Center.
