Artist Talks

Middle Street Gallery Hosts Artist Talk with Joyce Harman

Ice by Joyce Harman.

Artist Talk: Saturday, June 12 from 3pm to 5pm

On the afternoon of June 12 Joyce will be at Middle Street Gallery from 3 to 5 with information and stories about her work and with snacks and drinks. Come and step up with a step back to precovid-19 days; enjoy the art and visit live with the photographer

The biggest news for Old Rag Photographers is Joyce Harman’s new show, Water now underway in Middle Street Gallery, Washington, Virginia. She thoughtfully and beautifully explores the many forms water takes in nature including fog, waterfalls, rainbows, habitats, snow, ice and more.

“Water is everywhere,” Harman says. “It connects all life; without it there is no life. As a photographer I find that water in one of its many forms is a feature in many of my photographs. This exhibit can only begin to touch on the many ways water is present in the landscape.”

Other news from Old Rag is they continue to exhibit in Griffin Tavern where they have recently added new work. The upstairs gallery in Griffin is open again. Visit and enjoy. Also visit and enjoy Blue Wing Frog in Front Royal were their work is also on exhibit.

Check out our website where we are always adding new work. https://www.oldragphoto.com/index
