STABLE, a new professional artist space located in the Eckington neighborhood of Washington, DC, announces Art Relish, STABLE’s conversation series.
Art Relish will be a tasty dip into the DC arts scene. The four-part series will feature artists, curators, collectors, critics, gallerists and others who will offer insights into visual artists’ practices and the culture surrounding the arts and collecting.
The series will kick off on Saturday, January 11 with a conversation among artists Shaunté Gates, Katherine Mann and Andy Yoder, moderated by Wall Street Journal Arts reporter, Kelly Crow. This program will be a look at the paths, career trajectories and practices of three STABLE artists at different points in their careers.
STABLE is a non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen Washington, DC’s contemporary visual arts community by providing affordable and sustainable studio space, and collaborating with local, national, and international partners to provide programming and exhibition opportunities, fostering an engaged, diverse community in Washington, DC. STABLE works to create opportunities and share resources with artists, strengthening the artistic community and facilitating the expansion of networks.
STABLE was founded by three professional artists: Caitlin Teal Price, Tim Doud and linn meyers.
