The forces of good and evil converge in Heroes and Villains, September’s themed group exhibit at The Art League Gallery. In mediums ranging from drawing and painting to photography, ceramics, fiber art, and mixed media, League artists express their interpretation of heroes, villains, or themes of good vs. evil be it a classical reference, topical nod, or humorous take. Heroes and Villains It is on view in The Art League Gallery through October 3, and online.

Our heroes and villains theme would not be complete without acknowledging these character archetypes in popular comics. Join them Thursday, September 30, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. for Heroes and Villains in the Comic Arts, a panel discussion with pizza featuring Leah Fy of D.C.’s Fantom Comics and co-host of the Fantomcast, and illustrator and League instructor Chris Bonnell. RSVP here.
