Event: Tuesday, July 5 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm

On Tuesday, July 5, from 5:30–6:30 pm, the National Museum of Women in the Arts will celebrate the ever iconic Frida Kahlo. The latest in a popular series of virtual Happy Hour ‘toasts’ to notable women artists, the event will provide new insight into Kahlo’s artwork and life, while AJ Johnson, bar director of Serenata, will teach participants how to craft a specialty cocktail (or mocktail) in Kahlo’s honor. (Those looking to make the most of this birthday celebration can pair the virtual event with unique homegoods, books for kids and adults, even Kahlo themed socks and face masks, from the museum’s online shop).

The event is free, but advance registration is required: https://nmwa.org/whats-on/calendar/virtual-happy-hour-jul-5/.
