VisArts’ ceramics program serves more than 300 students in 12-week sessions and supports beginners through advanced students in all aspects of ceramic creation, including wheel throwing, handbuilding, sculpture, surface decoration, alternative firing techniques, Raku, and glaze applications.
VisArts’ ceramics students and faculty are free to explore, learn, and grow. The program is a vital part of VisArts’ art community and plays an integral role in VisArts’ mission of transforming lives through art.
This year’s exhibition highlights the range of styles, techniques, and concepts explored by instructors in VisArts’ ceramics program.
