Artist Talk: Sunday, November 26 from 2pm to 4pm

Artist will be in the gallery on Saturdays 1pm to 3pm.

Artist Tom Kenyon’s DREAMS OF SPEED saga continues with the reconfigured Kenyon Motor Co. belly tank racer. Mr. Kenyon now imagines “Special 49” as a four cylinder powered racer with an open cockpit.

But there is more, along with “Special 49” are paintings, prints, collages and some racing artifacts from the Kenyon Motor Co. The Artist is inspired by cars, car magazines, car culture, and family history. He combines models, painting, drawing, collage, and linoleum block prints to inform us about the imaginary racing exploits of the real Kenyon Motor Company.

Tom is a graduate of the Corcoran School of Art. He is also a member of the Waverly Street Gallery.
