Perry Frank is Founding Director of DC Murals: Spectacle and Story. Since 1996 she and her associates have documented scores of public murals in all sections of the city, with the goal of making the art more meaningful to all and preserving its record for future generations. DC Murals conducts tours, organizes public programs, and presents exhibitions. Dr. Frank is currently writing a book to bring the DC mural story to a wider public and add to the dialog on murals and urban life.
