Art Call: Seeking art for immediate purchase

Washington DC-based nonprofit Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, representing urban, local drinking water systems in the U.S. is seeking approximately twenty (20) pieces of wall art for its office suite.  Final decision and purchase of artwork will be finalized by December 31, 2021.

 

Criteria:

Artist: Any artist 18+ living within the DMV.  Work must be made by the artist who applies.
Subject matter: Scenes from urban environments, such as water towers or rivers or lakes with cityscapes; urban nature trails or parks; cityscapes; etc.
Media:

  • Oil,
  • acrylic,
  • watercolor,
  • or pastels

Size requirements:

  • Minimum 20” x 24”,
  • Maximum 36” x 48”,
  • orientation of work can be in either size direction

 Restrictions:

  • Works on canvas,
  • Framed or unframed (If unframed, must have finished edges.)
  • Price point target: maximum of $750/per work

 Images:

  • Limited to three (3) images/works (pdf or jpg),
  • high resolution (300 dpi),
  • attached to email, which open to no larger than 8 ½ x 11”

Art must be immediately available for purchase & delivery and be ready to hang.
