Deadline: March 15, 2019 (midnight EST)
An artist makes many decisions when creating their art. The fundamentals of design include: repetition, points, lines, planes, textures, colors, and composition. Artists intentionally choose which design features to include in their work. For instance, they may create a painting using only blue, or turn an object in a photo upside down to illustrate a point. A leaf with parallel lines is an act of design. The Capitol Hill Art League invites you to express in art form what design means to you. This exhibit is open to 2-d and 3-d work, juried by curator, Claude L. Elliott.
