OEE is now accepting proposals for Community Stormwater Solutions Grants. The program provides start-up funding for community-oriented projects that raise awareness about stormwater issues, through education, installation of runoff reducing green infrastructure, art installation, or other means as described in the request for funding availability (RFA). There is $140,000 available. DOEE anticipates awarding multiple grants of up to $20,000 each. Applications must be submitted online by 5:00pm on January 27, 2017.
DOEE will host five pre-application informational meetings:
- December 13 at 7pm: Shaw Library – 1630 7th Street NW (Shaw-Howard Metro)
- December 14 at 7pm: Benning Library – 3935 Benning Rd NE (Minnesota Ave Metro)
- January 4, 2017 at 1pm: DOEE Headquarters – 1200 First Street NE (NOMA/Gallaudet Metro)
