Deadline: Sunday, September 30, 2018
The District Clay Center & Cross MacKenzie Gallery are joining forces to support and celebrate local ceramic artists and to bring the wonder of clay to underserved youth in the community. Enter the competition for October 14th show and the December window exhibition at Cross MacKenzie Gallery.
This is an opportunity to get your work known by the collectors of premier ceramics and by affluent Georgetown shoppers. In the Georgetown Gallery Holiday Window Competition, participating ceramic artists will compete for the opportunity to show work in the front window at Cross Mackenzie Gallery, the District’s premier gallery for fine ceramic art. The winner of the competition will claim the Gallery’s front window during the holiday shopping season while finalists will be considered for future Window exhibitions at the Gallery.
The first-place winner of this competition will be announced on October 14th and will have their work displayed in the front window at the Cross MacKenzie Gallery for the month of December 2018. Other finalists will also be considered for future window exhibitions at the Gallery.
Show Juror: Becca Cross of the Cross MacKenzie Gallery
