McLean Project for the Arts (MPA) has announced a call for entries for its upcoming exhibition, Too Much of Too Much: Overstimulated, Overexposed and Overextended.
McLean Project for the Arts seeks works by artists who explore the idea of overstimulation, excessiveness and bombardment, be it through too much information, activity, expectation, or by any other means.
All Mid-Atlantic artists (DC, VA, MD, PA, NJ, DE, WV) are invited to submit up to four digital images (jpegs) of two- or three-dimensional, installation or video works completed within the last two years and not previously exhibited at MPA. Works that move beyond traditional forms and media are encouraged. Works must fit through a 81” x 65” doorway.
Juror: Laura Roulet, independent curator and writer specializing in contemporary and Latin American art.
Exhibition Dates: June 14 through August 19, 2018
