Calling all D.C. artists to apply for the Washington Award from S&R Evermay Foundation. Eligible to D.C. resident artists working in the fields of visual art, interdisciplinary practice, music, and dance, who prioritize social impact in their practice. The 2023 Washington Award offers:
- Cash Prize: four unrestricted grants of $15,000 in each artistic category.
- Fillmore Studios Prize: Twelve months of free studio space usage at The Fillmore School in Georgetown (1,000 sq ft private studios. Similar sized spaces could cost up to $25,000 a year to rent).
Applications open until April 30 at 11:59pm.
