Geometry and Calligraphy Exhibit – Aryan Gallery, Pars Place
The Aryan Gallery at Pars Place invites artists to explore what lies beneath – materially, emotionally, or socially. The exhibition centers on contrast, texture, and friction as both physical and conceptual forces: where surfaces meet resistance, where beauty collides with discomfort, and where unseen pressures shape form and meaning.
Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly, embracing both figurative and abstract approaches.
Artists are invited to submit work in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, photography, digital, and mixed media.
Work must be hanging- or pedestal-ready upon arrival at the gallery. Artwork may be no longer than 48” in its longest dimension and weigh no more than 50 pounds. The gallery reserves the right to refuse any work that arrives not ready for display.

Eligibility:
Open to all artists 18 years and older
All visual art media will be considered.

Subject line: OPEN CALL – Spring 2026
Images must be submitted in JPEG format only, with the following information included in the image caption in the exact order listed below:
First name, Last name, “Title of Artwork,” medium, dimensions (height × width × depth), year, price.
Submissions will be refused if this format is not followed.
Work must not be older than 2022.
Image Submission Tips:
If submitting a 3D work, please create a tiled image showing multiple views of the piece.
Include a short artist statement (no longer than 200 words) explaining how your work relates to the open call theme. Please also include links to your website and/or Instagram in the email.
Entry fee:
$10 application fee. Aryan Gallery Open Call
Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Applications submitted without payment will not be considered.
Only original artworks are accepted. Artwork may not be substituted once accepted. AI-generated images will not be accepted. The gallery will take a 30% commission on all sold works. Artists are encouraged to list work for sale, though this is not required.
Notification email: February 26, 2026
Artwork drop-off at the gallery: March 16–19, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM
(No work will be accepted after this date. Note: earlier drop-off may result in more favorable placement.)
Exhibition dates: March 21 – April 26, 2026
Opening Reception: March 21, 2026, 4:00–6:00 PM
Artwork pick-up (if not sold): April 27–29, 2026
