Wes Felton to Perform at EMULSION 2016

East City Art and Gallery O on H are pleased to announce that Wes Felton will perform at the opening of EMULSION 2016 on Saturday, April 9 from 8-11 p.m.

Wes Felton studied at School Without Walls and Carnegie Mellon University. He is per se a Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, and NBTF alum too because he has graced those stages with regularly over his years as a singer/actor/writer/producer. He is a DC Native and son of Jazz Pianist Hilton C Felton Jr.

His live music performance experience extends from Lollapallooza, Apollo Theater, to Europe, Japan plus concerts with Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def, De La Soul, Meshell N’degeocello and UK legend Omar. Felton has been a part of a tremendous number of major CD projects with a diverse array of entertainers including Chris Rock, Prince Paul, and Raheem Devaughn – a comic, hip-hop icon, and soul singer, respectively. Complex Magazine crowned “the future folk-soul hero” by for his vocals.

Clearly he is no stranger to microphone or the stage, he has television success being a  part of BET’s hit American talk show for youth.
