The Abstract Artists’ Collective is pleased to present a group exhibition of work by women painters at Serendipity Labs. Their Color Combustion show will run from April 5 – June 27, 2018, at 4500 East West Highway, Suite 125, Bethesda, Maryland (entrance on Pearl Street).

Eleven painters are included in the show: Tory Cowles, Lauren Chelec Cafritz, Camilla David, Jennifer Duncan, Patsy Fleming, Eleanor Glatty, Marthe McGrath, Michele Morgan, Hester Ohbi, Debra Perkins, and Helen Power. The inspiration for each artist is different; each has a distinct approach to expressing passion and strength in innovative and dynamic ways.

The works collectively reflect the commitment by each of the artists to using and layering colors, shapes, and textures in transformative, expressive, and spontaneous ways. That results in a diversity and vibrancy of work that is exciting and enticing, drawing viewers in to find their own meaning from the work.

Galleries in the Washington, DC metro area as well as other areas of the country represent many of the artists in the show, who have won various prestigious awards for their work. Their paintings are owned by collectors in the United States and internationally.

Serendipity Labs is located at 4500 East West Highway, Suite 125, Bethesda, MD.
