Join Amy Lokoff in celebrating her very first independently curated exhibition, not too high, not too low, on Friday March 9, 6 – 9 pm at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center.

For this show Amy has challenged six emerging cartoonists and comic book/zine artists from the DMV to create new work outside of their traditional medium for a gallery setting. For some, this means a panel becomes eight feet tall instead of handheld, for others it’s a cyclical or undefined narrative structure, instead of conforming to sequential order.

All the work will be for sale plus there will be a special, limited edition exhibition zine so it’s a great time to get some funky, local, affordable art. Plus local DJs Kryptk will be spinning the beats and setting the mood.
