Arlington Visual Art Studio Tour and Dominion Lighting Present Winter Light

“My Starry Night,” a painting by Nan Morrison. It is one of 15 juried artworks on display at Dominion Lighting’s flagship showroom, in collaboration with the Arlington Visual Art Studio Tour.

The Arlington Visual Art Studio Tour (AVAST) has teamed with Dominion Lighting on an exhibition of artworks made in Arlington, which November 28 in the company’s showrooms. “Winter Light” will remain on display through January 28.

Following the spring exhibition that took place in May and AVAST’s annual tour in September, the show features 15 pieces in various media by 12 Arlington artists.

Visitors will see this curated selection of works enhanced by lighting at Dominion Lighting’s flagship showroom in Arlington. The company calls the initiative “an unusual ‘third place’ that has hosted exhibitions of local art for more than a year.”

“This continues our partnership with Dominion,” said Beth Rhyne, AVAST Director. “We’re distilling our artists’ work in one location with one of our tour patrons from last September, Dominion Lighting.”

September of this year marked the fifth Arlington Visual Art Studio Tour, a joint effort of independent artists and volunteers supported by contributors including Schnider Investment Group and Dominion Lighting and in cooperation with Arlington’s visual art organizations.

The showroom is located at 5053 Langston Blvd., Arlington, VA.
