Art Enables’ annual show featuring local and national outsider artists opens October 8th.

Art Enables hosts their annual Outsider Art Inside the Beltway (OAIB) Exhibition, showcasing self-taught, folk, and outsider artwork from artists living and working throughout the U.S.

Now in its 11th year, OAIB originally started as a way for DC area groups working with self-taught artists to exhibit together. OAIB now features artists from across the country alongside Art Enables’ resident artists.

This year, participating organizations from across the US include Little City(Chicago), Sophie’s Gallery (California), Pure Vision Arts (New York), Main View Gallery and Studio (New York), Art Healing Hearts (Pittsburgh), as well as local artists from Studio In-Sight (Bethesda), Collective Art (Silver Spring), Saint Elizabeth’s (DC), The Studio at Miriam’s Kitchen (DC),Arundel Lodge (Maryland), and Make Studio (Baltimore.)

Collectors, enthusiasts, and aspiring artists are cordially invited to view the exhibit during its opening Saturday, October 8th, 2016, from 1 – 4 pm at the Art Enables Gallery & Studio (2204 Rhode Island Ave. NE, Washington, DC 20018.) The exhibit is open to the public and free of charge and will continue to be on display until Wednesday, November 23rd.
