Sarah Hardesty is installing a site-specific piece, Passage, designed for the raw, untouched portion of the 1880’s bank barn that is home to Artists Circle. She will be incorporating materials found in and around the barn, illustrating her exploration of restricted movement and a sense of deconstruction/memory of place. Her work has been included in numerous exhibitions across the United States. She was born in Strong, Maine and currently lives and works in the Washington, DC area. More information is available at

Chee-Keong Kung employs clouds, scribbles, and architectural elements as triggering devices to instigate new works. Built up over an extended period of time with layer upon layer of calligraphic brush work, color glazes, and hard- lined geometry, Chee’s works are akin to the compression of time and full measures of attention. Chee was born in Singapore and currently lives and works in McLean, Virginia. More information is available at

The show can be visited by appointment only during Gallery hours: Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm.
