A special exhibit and a wider selection of artworks will mark the 2023 Arlington Visual Art Studio Tour. 50 Arlington artists will open their studios Sept 23-24. A Launch Party on Friday, September 22, 5 – 7 pm, will take place at Arlington County’s Gallery 3700, located at 3700 S. Four Mile Run Arlington VA 22206.
A schedule and directory of participating artists is available at https://arlingtonartstudiotour.org and the event is free.
Selected works by participants will go on display at Gallery 3700 starting Sept. 9. The show, called AVAST@3700, will run through December 7 open Mon – Fri 10 am – 10 pm, Saturday 9 am – 6 pm.
Their website at https://arlingtonartstudiotour.org will offer a free guide to what’s on view where, so that anyone can find their favorite artists and build their personal itinerary. On Saturday Sept. 23, North Arlington studios will open; on Sunday Sept. 24 South Arlington studios will open. Each day, studios will open 11 am until 5 pm.
