Opening Reception: Saturday, October 6 from 5pm to 7pm

The Capitol Hill Art League presents an all media, juried members’ art exhibition called Joie de Vivre.

This Joy of Living theme invites members to use their “joie de vivre” in creating exuberant artwork to invoke energy, inspire enthusiasm, cause cheerfulness, lend lightheartedness, and deliver JOY!

The juror for the show is Kat Jamieson. Kat Jamieson’s career as a creative director and communicator has been devoted to nonprofits such as The Nature Conservancy and the American Red Cross. She has a BFA in Graphic Design from The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD, and completed her graduate work in Publication Design in the US and England.

Kat says, “I create in order to discover”, and devotes her energy as an artist to both designing and fabricating original jewelry and painting watercolors. She is a Board member of the Arlington Artists Alliance and member of The Art League in Alexandria, VA.
