Opening Reception: Saturday, February 15 from 5pm to 7pm

The New Year begins with the unique art vibes of the Capitol Hill Art League artists interpret the theme Rhythm and Blues in a multi-media, juried art show.

Justyne Fischer will jury this multi-media art show of the Capitol Hill Art League (CHAL). Justyne Fischer is an award-winning printmaker who burnishes and hand pulls compositions onto sheer fabric.  Her work focuses on Social Memorials.  Her artwork has been published in The Washington Post, East City Art Magazine, Professional Artist Magazine, Wall Street International Magazine, The Huffington Post, Artscope Magazine and The Journal of Cultural Research in Art Education.

Fischer currently teaches AP Studio Art to nationally recognized and award-winning students at South County High School in Lorton, Virginia.
