The Capitol Riverfront BID is pleased to present the inaugural series of artists’ work for display on the Canal Park Glow Cube. The series Art and the Environment will kick off with a special opening reception on October 5th, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

The event includes an introduction of the series and the artists, complimentary food and beverage from neighborhood retailers, and tours of Canal Park highlighting its environmental design. All five artworks will be on display during the opening for a special preview.

Artwork in this series embraces Canal Park’s environmental design and legacy and encourages viewers to consider the human impact on the natural world. The work in this series includes both still and moving images and will be displayed nightly on the Canal Park Glow Cube at 200 M Street SE from October 5th thru December 17th, 2017.
