Olubanke King-Akerele – a literary writer who formerly served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, respectively Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Liberia. There will be a book signing of two of her most recent works entitled 1) “Women’s Leadership in Post-Conflict Liberia” and “The Growing of Africa’s Emergent Leadership.” The proceeds of the books sales will benefit orphans of the ebola crisis in Liberia.
Charles M. Bergen – a sculptor, whose current work is in the arena of public art, he will be showing small intimate figurines sculptures.
Cheryl D. Edwards – a visual artist will be showing new and old works that are conceptual and unconventional in nature.
Donna-Marie R. Jones – a photographer will exhibit her new series of work that captures African American Women Bikers who engage in the art of Cigar smoking.
Sue Wribican – a photographer will exhibit her new work conceived for her community public art sculpture project at the Seligmann Center in Sugar Loaf, New York.
Cheryl D. Edwards’ Studio is located at 716 Monroe Street NE Studio #9.
