CONNERSMITH is pleased to present a select look at Erik Thor Sandberg’s most recent painting: What Lasts. In this extraordinary new work Sandberg delivers a timely revelation of the precarious nature of human civilization.

“What Lasts is about impermanence, not only of life, but also of the things that we make. The objects represent different aspects of life, including play and sustenance; the city embodies a society built on insecure ground.” -Erik Thor Sandberg
