Join Destination Congress Heights at the opening reception for the Honoring Congress Heights Art exhibit. The community driven exhibit will feature historic photographs from community residents, neighborhood churches, the Historical Society of Washington, D.C., and also paintings from students that currently attend schools in the Congress Heights community. This free event will kick-off Congress Heights Week 2016, ending with the 35th Annual Congress Heights Day Parade and Festival on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
