Disposition will feature artwork provided by the Justice Arts Coalition (JAC) and showcase artwork by Halim Flowers. JAC is a national network and resource for those creating art in and around the criminal legal system. JAC unites teaching artists, arts advocates, artists who are or have been incarcerated and their allies, harnessing the transformative power of the arts to reimagine justice. Halim Flowers is a Washington, DC-based artist, author, and human rights advocate who has dedicated his life to promoting love and justice for all. Born in 1980, Flowers is a self-taught visual artist and spoken word performer who has gained worldwide recognition for his stunning paintings and poetry.

Disposition is an exhibit which highlights and includes works of art created by individuals impacted by the justice system. The featured artwork was created by currently and formerly incarcerated artists and the loved ones that are currently affected by the justice system. This exhibition explores how art and creativity aid in healing the trauma caused by the prison system and incarceration. The artwork displayed showcases the raw talent, creativity, and lived experiences by individuals who have become victims of a dehumanizing incarceration system.
