Reception: Friday, February 1 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
The Arts Club of Washington is pleased to present three exhibitions this February featuring works by the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA), David Avery, and Eleanor Lally. The artwork will be on view February 1 – February 23rd with a free public reception on Friday, February 1st from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
NAWA celebrates their 130th anniversary with their newest show, Transparency. This exhibition is curated by Dr. Erich Keel (former Head of Education at the Kreeger Museum) and highlights works by NAWA members from all over the United States. Printmaker David Avery’s exhibition is curated by Dr. Eric Denker (Senior Lecturer, National Gallery of Art).
The club’s cooperative Spilsbury Gallery features mixed media pieces by Arts Club member Eleanor Lally. Other participating artists include: Lorna Aldrich, Ken Bachman, Gloria Benedetto-Brazelton, Camilla Bozzoli, Britt Conley, Vicki Doyle, Susie Eisinger, Alessandra Figliuoli, Larry Jarvik, Martine Khadr-Van Schoote, Peggy McNutt, Laura Patten, Pam Palco, Denise Shamoun Phalan, Tihomer Petrov, Carol Porter, Frances Sniffen, Richard Swartz, Lucretia Tanner, Barbara Wright, and Jonathan Zuck.
