Featuring fifteen original pieces from Fosheé’s collection, Dream Domain is a mesmerizing exploration of movement and the ethereal energies that surround us. Fosheé’s distinctive style, characterized by his affinity for inks, takes center stage, captivating audiences with its depth and emotive power.

Born a Washington, DC native, Fosheé’s passion for art has permeated his career from his time at York College of Pennsylvania to studying at Mount Gretna School of Art where he secured 2nd Place in The Fine (Art) -ist, 2023 Senior Exhibition at York College of PA, and the prestigious Best Drawing award. Other notable accolades include his commission from Nike in January 2024, inspired by Nike’s Black Community Commitment, a testament to his growing influence in the art world. Foushee’s latest exhibition is a dynamic exploration of movement and energy, drawing inspiration from the vibrant pulse of contemporary life. Jess Randolph, Assocaite Creative Director of the Anacostia Arts Center, reflects on the value of art and community. “We believe that people should receive recognition from their own communities,” she asserts. “They shouldn’t have to leave the city to grow because we’re full of opportunities right here.”

Dream Domain is open to the public until 4/7/2024, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Fosheé’s visionary world. The exhibition is made possible by Wacif and The Anacostia BID’s Art to GoGo program, reflecting a commitment to fostering local artistic talent and community engagement.
