Opening Reception: Saturday, March 3 from 5pm to 8pm

This all-member exhibit is about memory. Cabin, by Duly Noted Painters Kurtis Ceppetelli and Matt Malone, is a lively image of a painter painting; it memorializes a friend’s retreat at Deep Creek Lake where the artists could escape the city, work, and spend time with friends. Jay Peterzell’s Three Elegies for Douglas Berggren No. 6 salutes a philosopher and professor whose depth of mind and mischievous humor vanished from the world with his death last year. Vu Nguyen’s Nine Dragon River Delta revisits a complex childhood scene, both in memory and in the present. Gregory O’Hanlon’s disorienting, poetic and immensely vertical Sky suggests a new strain of natural mysticism in the photographer’s work. The show will present work by nineteen of the gallery’s artists.
