Free Community Days
The first and third Sundays of the month are Community Days at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NWMA)! Visit us on Community Days for free admission to the museum—take this opportunity to explore our collection and special exhibitions before they close.

Current exhibitions include: Her Flag, an installation celebrating the 19th Amendment’s centennial currently on display on the museum’s facade through July 12; Mary Ellen Mark: Girlhood, featuring Mark’s poignant snapshots of female adolescence all over the world; and Selections from the Collection, which includes historical and contemporary art from women around the world, grouped into themes: “Rebels with a Cause,” “Family Matters,” “Space Encounters,” “Roots to Routes,” “The Great Outdoors,” and “Built to Order.”

National Museum of Women in the Arts is located at 1250 New York Avenue NW.
