About Bob daCosta
Born in New York City in 1933, artist Bob daCosta began painting as early as primary school where his teachers recognized his impressionist viewpoint and artistic talents, hanging his work in the halls as examples to other students. DaCosta pursued his interest in fine art, painting throughout high school, earning a scholarship to New York’s Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences. At State University of New York he majored in design and his teachers were top professional from the field in Manhattan.
