What is Krampus?
Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure that accompanies Saint Nicholas during the Christmas season, warning and punishing bad children. He will be coming to Gallery O on H on Saturday, December 3 for a night benefiting Santa’s Cause, a local nonprofit that serves the foster children of Family Matters of Greater Washington.
Saturday, December 3
- 5:00pm: Doors open
- 6:30pm: Morse Dancers, First Raffle, and Fire Performers
- 7:15pm: Krampus Walk Lead by Batala & Santa Claus
- 8:30pm: Krampi Return to Gallery O on H
- 8:45pm: Santa’s Choice Costume Contest and Fire Performances
- 9-11:00pm: DJ Dance Party
Benefiting
Santa’s Cause DC contributes to the approximate 75 foster children of Family Matters of Greater Washington. The children in the program are between the ages of 0-21 years. All donations are 100% tax deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines. 100% of your donation goes to helping the foster children. All fees for the website, mailings, coordination, and general administration costs are taken on by Mr. and Mrs. Claus as our donations to the program or covered by Family Matters of Greater Washington.
