Things fall apart.  They break down.  Sometimes this happens in an explosive instant, sometimes slowly, an erosion of our world coinciding with the erosion of our sense of stability.  During those moments, chaos reigns.  Life swirls around us, knocks the air out of us, and yet, we keep coming back for more.  This is the essence of humanity at its most confusing and frustrating.   To capture that feeling of instability, of chaos, is what the artists of Gallery Underground strive to do in their latest show.

After the provocative discomfort of Chaos, enjoy a welcome respite in the main gallery where we present new member works for October, including paintings, sculpture, jewelry and metalwork, glass, wood and ceramics, mixed media and photography.

Come meet our artists at Gallery Underground’s opening reception on Friday, October 4 from 5-7pm. The reception is free and open to the public.
