Opening Reception: Friday, November 1 from 5pm to 7pm

As one travels the world, it is impossible to not want to save the entire experience  – the tiny moments shared between new acquaintances, the exquisite beauty of a newly seen landscape.  They sear themselves into your memory, and for artist Pattee Hipschen, they are the inspiration for her new solo show, On the Road. Hipschen’s paintings celebrate over 30 years of road trips through the US and Europe and include images of rural roads, alleys and ditches, urban traffic jams and ribbons of big, open highways.  The show, which will be hanging in the Focus Gallery, is a collection of colorful paintings and monoprints ranging from a delightfully tiny 4×4 inches to an expansive 40×60.

In the main gallery, they present new member works for November, including paintings, sculpture, metalwork, glass, wood, ceramics, and mixed media.
