The Gateway Media Arts Lab, in conjunction with The Global Sleepover and Rebecca Solow Illustration, Presents: Creative Lock-in Night: A Structured Period to Start, Execute and Finish a Piece of Creative Work

Join the for a night of structured creativity, inspiration, live sketch modeling and more. A Creative Lock-In is a time during which we lead participants through the life cycle of producing a piece of creative work. We can all use a bit of method and intentional process in our work.

Come to the Lock-In with yourself and leave with a piece of creative work. They’ll guide you through the process of conceptualizing, starting, executing, making mistakes, going the wrong direction, evaluating, adjusting and finalizing. Their goal is to give you a jump-start to complete your project, or a component of your overall vision.

After the Lock-in there will be an Open Creation session to get your creativity flowing, which will include inspiration stations, live costumed models for figure drawing, an opportunity to meet other local creatives, a device Lab with an iPad and Apple pencil, group Art Project, live music, costume box, business card swap table, and more.

When: Saturday, September 22nd, 5pm-Midnight
Arrive at 5PM sharp for the Creative Lock-In and stay through the Open Creation Session or come at 8PM for the Open Creation Session only.

Come to one or both parts of the evening!
