Get into the holiday spirit at Glen Echo Park’s annual Winter’s Eve celebration! It’s FREE, open to the public, and visitors of all ages will enjoy:
- Holiday Crafts
- Hot Chocolate Bar
- Open Artist Studios
- Holiday Sing-a-Long
The holiday craft rooms are located in the Arcade Building where parents and children of all ages will enjoy a variety of fun crafts.
Also in the Arcade Building – and just for this special night – the Partnership will transform one of our classrooms into a hot chocolate bar offering free hot chocolate.
Holiday Art Show & Sale will be open in the Popcorn Gallery and Stone Tower Gallery with special extended hours from 11am to 8pm* on Saturday, December 8. This will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to shop for holiday gifts. The show features a wide range of artwork, from one-of-a-kind silver jewelry made by our resident silver artist, to beautiful photographs, to striking fused glass creations.
Visit Glen Echo Glassworks for DIY Blown Glass Ornament Making – $35 per ornament, sign up at the Studio. Photoworks offers Holiday Portrait Sessions at 5pm and 6pm, with a $25 donation to Photoworks. Join Washington Conservatory of Music for a Sing and Strum A-Long with folk guitarist Mike Kligerman and friends, and see pop-up performances by Suzuki Violin students.
