GRUMP Holiday Arts & Crafts Show could not be contained to just one weekend; now shoppers looking for the best in unique handmade gifts (and treats for themselves!) have two weekends to shop GRUMP! GRUMP is back for its 7th year, returning to Rosslyn, Virginia, and SPACES The Artisphere. GRUMP Rosslyn is where you can shop local from 45 exciting artists and makers and stop for a photo op with one of the many Yetis! Doors open at noon and the first 250 shoppers will receive a free GRUMP tote bag. Spaces is one block from the Rosslyn Metro Stop.

Why spend time in lines at cookie-cutter malls when you can meet local vendors selling everything from handmade toys to letterpress cards. You can check out all of the vendors online at: An added bonus is meeting the people who make the things that you buy, hearing their stories, and getting inspired yourself.

Smithsonian’s National Zoo visitors will have the opportunity to find gifts for family and friends at GRUMP, a European-style outdoor market, Dec. 7, 8 and 9 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. during ZooLights, powered by Pepco. Located near the Zoo’s Connecticut Avenue entrance, this alternative art and crafts holiday market features gifts for all ages made by more than 40 local artists. Unique and quirky finds include handmade clothing, jewelry and toys as well as inventive home décor made from upcycled materials. For more information about this event and to view a full list of participating artists, visit the Zoo’s website.

SPACES The Artisphere is located at 1101 Wilson Blvd., Rosslyn, VA.
