The Jackson Family Art Show is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, they have had the privilege of serving our community through interactive art programs, captivating art shows, and engaging paint parties. They are incredibly grateful for the support they have received, and they invite you to join them as they commemorate this milestone.
Since their beginnings in May 2013 with their first exhibit at Oxon Hill Library, the Jackson Family Art Show has blossomed into a multi-generational artistic endeavor, spanning three generations of talented artists.
Their first-generation artist, with an impressive 55 years of experience as a visual artist, has been the driving force behind the family’s artistic journey. Their second-generation artist, a VCU graduate with a degree in Art, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their family’s creative legacy. Their dedication and passion for their craft have paved the way for future generations, creating a rich artistic heritage that they are proud to celebrate today.
This anniversary celebration is not only a chance to catch up with the artists you know and love but also an opportunity to discover fresh artwork from their ever-expanding family. With six talented artists in the third generation and new members continually joining their creative ranks, there will be an abundance of captivating pieces on display. Prepare to be inspired by their unique perspectives and diverse artistic styles.
