Event: Thursday, April 29 from 8pm to 9pm

McLean Project for the Arts (MPA) will host its inaugural ArtSprings! Virtual Benefit on April 29, 2021. The family of sculptor and longtime McLean resident Emilie Benes Brzezinski will join as MPA officially accepts the mantle to establish the next chapter of their mother’s artistic legacy. Hynek Kmoníček, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the United States, will join the event as a keynote speaker, and media personality and lifestyle correspondent Amy E. Goodman will emcee.

ArtSprings! will feature a diverse lineup of musical performances, including the Voices of Classic Soul; the Dave Kline Band, with special guest Senator Tim Kaine; and musicians from the Strathmore Music Center Artist in Residence program. Artists Barbara Januszkiewicz and Antoinette Wysocki will also share their backgrounds and connections to MPA, and explain how that connection influenced their successful careers.

MPA ArtSprings! is presented in partnership with the Kimsey Family Foundation, the Mather, Max Mara, and Total Wine & More
