Mehari Sequar Gallery is pleased to announce When I Was a Kid I Remembered All My Dreams by painter and muralist Chris Pyrate.

The works on display will immerse viewers into an ethereal fantasy filled with motifs and figures from his world. Chris has imagined a world that will cater to and engage the senses while taking viewers through his childhood odyssey. The exhibition is a collection of ideas and visions translated into physical by artist Chris Pyrate; meant to inspire you to try harder to remember.

About Chris Pyrate
Born in Washington DC and spending years working between Brooklyn and Miami, Pyrate has amassed quite the notable clientele from Grammy Award winning musicians such as Lupe Fiasco and staple commercial brands like Nike. Chris has installed countless murals nationally and has shown work at several festivals such as the prestigious Miami Art Week and the popular SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. With a focus on the “inner child” and maintaining a strong imagination, Pyrate spreads his message through murals, fashion and art published domestically and internationally.
