With vibrant colors, lavish textures, and visual depth, Catherine Kleeman’s inspiration lies in the natural world that surrounds her. Ocean waves breaking on a seashore; irrigation patterns seen from an airplane window; the warmth of the summer sun shining on her head are some of the things that motivated her creations. In her exhibition Yard Art, her quilted wall hangings all measuring one yard square, are abstracts of what she experiences in very own back yard.

For many years, David Brosch has offered classes in Printmaking at Montpelier Arts Center. The classes were available to novice printmakers as well as those with more experience who wanted additional press time. David shares this exhibition with these artists and their considerable skills in a variety of forms including etching, drypoint, monoprint, aquatint, and block printing.
