National Gallery of Art Winter 2020 Film Season

The season offers a selection of new restorations; ciné-essays; special events with filmmakers, including Rima Yamazaki and William Noland; recent documentaries; and several series of archival and contemporary films from around the world. Features include the rarely seen early work of Iranian master Abbas Kiarostami, 10 of the most recent films from the Checkerboard Film Foundation, and series celebrating filmmaking in Africa and Armenia.
