Free Community Days
The first and third Sundays of the month are Community Days at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NWMA)! Visit us on Community Days for free admission to the museum—take this opportunity to explore our collection and special exhibitions before they close.

Current exhibitions include: Mary Ellen Mark: Girlhood, featuring Mark’s poignant snapshots of female adolescence all over the world; Sonya Clark: Bristle, Tatter, and Mend, a survey of Clark’s famous fiber and mixed-media works that address topics of race, heritage, and visibility; and Selections from the Collection includes historical and contemporary art from women around the world, grouped into themes: “Rebels with a Cause,” “Family Matters,” “Space Encounters,” “Roots to Routes,” “The Great Outdoors,” and “Built to Order.”

Advance purchase of timed tickets required
