Ephraim Rubenstein: Recent Paintings and Drawings
Stone Tower Gallery | October 9 – November 14, 2021
The Stone Tower Gallery features recent paintings and drawings by artist Ephraim Rubenstein. In this body of work, Rubenstein employs the “color spot” method of painting, a technique by which a piece of color, large or small, is applied directly to the canvas, rather than being built up slowly as in traditional painting methods. As a result of this technique, Rubenstein’s landscapes and figure paintings are brought to life with freshness and directness, transporting viewers into the scenes they depict.
