October Events at The Fridge

The Fridge has two new exhibits and over a dozen events and performances lined up for this October.

Schedule of Exhibit Events:

  • Opening Night: Friday, October 4 from 7pm to 11pm
  • Neighborhood Opening: Saturday, October 5 from 12pm to 4pm

UNNAMED is a feature exhibit of exclusive prints and reproductions. 20 featured graffiti, street and underground artists, most known by pseudonyms and aliases, will contribute multiples created especially for this show. Art lovers will be able to see the work, buy the work, and take it home with them immediately.

  • Mixtape Listening Party, Concert & Music Video Shoot: Sunday, October 27 from 5pm to 7pm

Hosted by Words, Beats & Life, Curated by Zoma Wallace. The works featured in Crowns highlight the strategic patterning (behaviors, actions, routes, relationships, etc.) that people learn and incorporate into daily life in order to overcome challenges and opposition faced during the arc of ones life experience. Using these learned patterns as a piece on life’s board, personal empowerment comes when we recognize and utilize the special “moves” or inherent talents within ourselves, no matter how minute.
