Out Loud & In the Bushes: Trinka Roeckelein and Roger Strassman
October 6 to November 11, 2018 // Stone Tower Gallery
Out Loud & In the Bushes is a joint show featuring Roger Strassman’s colorful abstract paintings and Trinka Roeckelein’s whimsical ceramic animal sculptures. “Out Loud” alludes to a painting group with whom Strassman previously exhibited in the DC area. “In the Bushes” references the context for Roeckelein’s clay pieces. The exhibit presents Roeckelein’s intimate sculptures of a wide array of animals sprinkled amongst Strassman’s large canvases of bold colors playing back and forth in sweeping rhythms.
Saturday and Sunday, 12pm – 6pm.
Opening Reception: Saturday, October 13, 4 to 6:30pm
